Kaduna State Governor, Senator Uba Sani, has said that Ekiti State governorship election holding on June 20, will serve as a critical political barometer for the All Progressives Congress ahead of the 2027 general election.

Sani, who is the National Chairman of the Ekiti State Governorship Election Campaign Council, spoke at the Ado-Ekiti Airport upon his arrival in Ekiti State on Sunday evening ahead of Monday’s official flag-off of the APC governorship campaign for Governor Biodun Oyebanji’s reelection.

Thirteen political parties are participating in the Ekiti governorship election.

Meanwhile,All roads lead to Ado-Ekiti today, Monday, April 27, as the All Progressives Congress (APC) is currently flagging off the re-election campaign of Biodun Abayomi Oyebanji ahead of the June 20 governorship election.

The event, which began at 10:00 a.m. at the Ekiti Parapo Pavilion, is drawing one of the largest political gatherings in the state in recent years, with party leaders and supporters converging from across the country.
