The Ekiti State Government says it will commence the distribution of subsidised agrochemicals to farmers across the state on Monday as part of efforts to boost agricultural productivity and enhance food security. The Commissioner for Agriculture and Food Security, Ebenezer Boluwade, announced this in a statement issued in Ado-Ekiti on Saturday.

According to him, the flag-off ceremony is scheduled for 10 a.m. on Monday, July 20, at the Fadama Office, New Secretariat, Ado-Ekiti.

Boluwade said the initiative is aimed at reducing production costs for farmers while increasing agricultural output across the state.
