FAYEMI MOURNS SENATOR TONY ADENIYI, DESCRIBES HIM AS A DISTINGUISHED LEGAL LUMINARY AND PATRIOT

Former Ekiti State Governor, Kayode Fayemi, has expressed deep sorrow over the death of Senator Tony Adeniyi, describing him as a distinguished legal luminary, statesman and patriot whose life was marked by integrity, justice and selfless service. Fayemi said Adeniyi played a significant role in the legal battle that restored the mandate of his administration and would always be remembered for his commitment to good governance.


The former governor noted that the late senator’s wisdom, humility and dedication to public service earned him widespread respect, adding that his death is a great loss to his family, the legal profession, Ekiti State and Nigeria. Fayemi extended his condolences to the bereaved family and prayed for God to grant the late senator eternal rest and comfort those he left behind.
