FAYOSE BACKS OYEBANJI FOR SECOND TERM, SAYS HE DESERVES TO CONTINUE TILL 2030

Former Ekiti Governor Ayodele Fayose has described Governor Biodun Oyebanji as a “performer and builder” who deserves a second term, saying all former governors are backing his re-election. He made the remarks during Oyebanji’s campaign tour in Ado Ekiti, adding that the governor’s performance should continue till 2030.
Senator Babafemi Ojudu also urged strong support for Oyebanji, saying the party should aim for at least 500,000 votes due to his accessibility, generosity, and impact in the state. He described the governor as a unifying leader who has earned loyalty across political and social groups.
Senate Leader Opeyemi Bamidele praised the governor’s achievements and said the campaign was targeting major vote gains across Ekiti, especially in Ado. Governor Oyebanji, in his remarks, highlighted completed projects and called for wider mobilisation ahead of the June 20 election, while stakeholders at the event pledged continued support.
