Ahead of the next general elections, Nigeria’s First Lady Oluremi Tinubu has inaugurated a grassroots mobilisation group known as the Tinubu Torchbearers (TTB) to rally support for a fresh mandate for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.

The women-led initiative, launched under the All Progressives Congress (APC), is designed to promote and communicate the achievements and programmes of the current administration to voters across the country. It is also aimed at strengthening grassroots engagement ahead of the next general elections.

Speaking at the event, Oluremi Tinubu said the platform represents commitment, patriotism and service, while highlighting the important role of women in national development and political mobilisation.
