SHETTIMA TO VISIT EKITI, PERFORM EKITI KNOWLEDGE ZONE GROUNDBREAKING AND COMMISSION EFCC OFFICE

The Vice President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, Senator Kashim Shettima, is scheduled to visit Ekiti State on Tuesday, June 9, 2026, for a one-day official working visit. He will be representing President Bola Ahmed Tinubu during the trip.
Upon arrival, Governor Biodun Oyebanji, alongside other top state officials, will receive the Vice President at the Ekiti Agro Allied International Cargo Airport in Ado-Ekiti. The visit is expected to attract key stakeholders across the state.
During the engagement, Vice President Shettima will perform the groundbreaking ceremony for the Ekiti Knowledge Zone (EKZ). He will also commission the newly built zonal office of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) located along Old Iyin Road in Ado-Ekiti.
