TINUBU VOWS TO DEFEAT TERRORISM, ADDRESS ECONOMIC HARDSHIP AS DEMOCRACY DAY CELEBRATIONS BEGIN

President Bola Tinubu has vowed that his administration will not yield to terrorism, banditry, or any form of criminal intimidation, while pledging renewed efforts to address the economic hardship facing Nigerians.


The assurance was delivered on his behalf by the Secretary to the Government of the Federation, George Akume, during a National Inter-Denominational Church Service held at the National Christian Centre in Abuja.


The service formed part of activities marking the 2026 Democracy Day celebrations, where calls for unity, peace, and national resilience were also emphasized.
