EKITI SUBEB INTENSIFIES ENROLLMENT DRIVE TO REDUCE NUMBER OF OUT-OF-SCHOOL CHILDREN

The Ekiti State Universal Basic Education Board, SUBEB, has intensified efforts to increase school enrollment and reduce the number of out-of-school children across the state.

The Commissioner in charge of Human Resources Management at Ekiti SUBEB, Dr. Olufunke Fajobi, disclosed this while featuring on the statewide programme, Ekiti Today, broadcast on Thursday, September 17, 2026, across radio stations in Ekiti State.

Fajobi said the ongoing enrollment drive is part of the state government’s commitment to ensuring that every child of school age has access to quality basic education.

She explained that SUBEB is implementing various government policies and programmes aimed at strengthening basic education across the state.

According to her, the board is also monitoring and evaluating teaching and learning activities in schools to ensure that educational standards are maintained.

Fajobi urged parents and guardians to take advantage of the government’s efforts by ensuring that all children of school age are enrolled in school and given the opportunity to receive quality basic education.
